Great turnout for Skidaway Marine Science Day 2017! - Skidaway Institute of Oceanography

More than 2,400 visitors enjoyed a beautiful autumn afternoon on the island during Skidaway Marine Science Day on Saturday, Oct. 14.
The campus-wide open house featured exhibits, programs and activities sponsored by campus partners, including the UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, the University of Georgia Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant and Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary.
The open house event also featured a number of outside environmental organizations and food trucks from the Savannah Food Truck Association.
