Evening at Skidaway — The Past, Present and Future of Coastal Georgia Marshes

February 17 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
A evening at Skidaway e-flyer. Text reads "The Past, Present and Future of Coastal Georgia Marshes." There is a photo of a marsh in the background.

Our marshes matter. They protect our communities, support our coastal economy, and embody Georgia’s natural beauty. But our marshes are under pressure from natural and human forces.  Join us for a live Q&A with Dr. Clark Alexander, director of the UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, to learn why our marshes are so important, what Georgia marshes are most vulnerable, what possible futures look like, and what is being done to protect these critical ecosystems.
