We hate to brag, but…

The employees here at Skidaway Institute of Oceanography were just honored with a very nice recognition.  Skidaway Institute won Georgia’s “Governor’s Cup” which is awarded annually to five state agencies who make the greatest contribution to the State Charitable Contribution Campaign. (That is essentially the state government version of United Way.)

Our employees won the award for the third year in a row and the 8th year out of the last 12 for state agencies with between 1-100 employees.  In the five years we didn’t win it, we were runners-up.

I always knew we had a great group of people here, but it’s nice to see the recognition all the same.
