The Commons

The Commons — Student Housing 

Completed in 2006, The Commons is an ADA compliant housing unit that has four bedrooms with two single beds in each.  Two rooms with adjoining bathrooms and two that share a single ADA compliant bathroom. The fully functional kitchen and living areas are shared space. There is also a laundry area with two washer/dryer sets, and a small meeting room. 

The Quadraplex

The Quadraplex — Carpenter, Knight, Menzel and Zeigler Apartments — Student Housing

Built in 1999, “The Quad” has four apartments. The Zeigler and Menzel apartments are located at the front of the building, and the Carpenter and Knight apartments are in the back. Apartments are identical and have a fully functional kitchen, living room, two bedrooms with two beds in each room, and one bathroom. 

The Baggett Apartment

Baggett Apartment — Faculty or Student Housing

Built in the 1940’s, this apartment is located above the Ocean Sciences Instructional Center. It is not ADA compliant (there is no elevator, accessible by stairs only.)
Two bedrooms with a queen bed in each, one bath, and a fully functional kitchen and living room.

The Rice House

Rice House — Faculty with Occasional Student Use

 

Built in the 1940’s, the Rice House is a four bedroom, two bath house with over 2,000 sq ft. There is a large living room, a dining area, and a fully functional kitchen. There are six single beds in the Rice House (two rooms have 2 single beds.) Also a front screened porch, a side porch, and a single carport. 

The Duplex

The Duplex – Thomas and Martin Apartments – Faculty and Special Guests

Built in the 1930’s, this duplex has two separate, one-bedroom with a queen bed, one-bath apartments, each with a small living area and a fully functional eat-in kitchen. When facing the front of the building, the Thomas apartment is on the left and the Martin apartment is on the right.
