Below is a list of question and answer profiles of alumni of the Semester at Skidaway program at the University of Georgia Skidaway Institute of Oceanography (SkIO). Alumni respond to a series of questions about their experiences during the program, as well as their current positions and career interests.
The Semester at Skidaway program annually brings senior undergraduate students enrolled in UGA’s B.S. degree in Ocean Science program to the Georgia coast for a semester of classes, hands-on research, and field trips to scientifically and culturally relevant locations. The pinnacle of the program is a two-day research cruise aboard SkIO’s 104-ft Research Vessel Savannah.
