Radiowave Oceanography Workshop 2014

Radiowave Oceanography Workshop 2014:

Date: May 11-15, 2014

Location: Coastal Georgia Center, Savannah, GA

Lodging: Courtyard Marriott, Savannah, GA

ROW is an opportunity for the scientific community to exchange progress and results in using shore-based high frequency (HF) radar systems to mapping ocean currents, waves, and other parameters.

HF-radar systems include the well-known instruments known by brand names CODAR/Seasonde and WERA, and also a variety of new and developing systems, such as PortMap very-high frequency systems or the new low-power, low-cost systems of Flament et al.

HF radar investigations are an activity of growing importance worldwide. ROW is an opportunity to exchange plans and results from those efforts.
